Senior IT Project Manager - Data focussed Location : Manchester - 2 days a week Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent - £70K Who will you be working for? As part of  their commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, they are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team with a focus around small Data projects to be aligned with further AI projects. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects in fast-paced environments, spanning industries like Information Technology, Professional Services, and the Legal Sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end IT and business change projects, from initiation through delivery to benefit realisation, across global organisations. Deliver projects using a variety of techniques including SCRUM, KANBAN, Waterfall, and other product delivery frameworks. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s goals and timelines. Continuously improve project delivery processes, focusing on optimisation and efficiency. Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and financial forecasts. Maintain and update RAID logs, Change Requests, and status reports to ensure smooth communication and project governance. Manage large, multidisciplinary teams with both internal and external resources, across multiple locations. Key Requirements: Essential: Proven experience in successfully delivering and supporting IT & business change projects across global organisations, from initiation through to delivery and benefit realisation. Expertise in various project delivery techniques such as SCRUM, KANBAN, Waterfall, and other product delivery methods. Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility and agility. A focus on continuous improvement in project delivery. Experience in developing and maintaining project schedules, resource plans, budgets, RAID logs, and status reports. Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional project teams across various locations. Experience in one or more of the following industries: Information Technology Professional Services Legal Sector Essential Technical Skills: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with project, programme, and business change management methodologies and tools. Desirable: Knowledge of current trends in AI tools and experience in deploying them into enterprise organisations. Experience supporting AI deployments with structured Proof of Concepts (PoC) and Pilots. Experience in managing data-driven projects across enterprise-level organisations.
