Solicitor Location: Halton, Cheshire Salary: £44,298 - £47,420 per annum + £7k Market Supplement Job Type: Fixed term for 12 months The council have a number of fixed term vacancies for Solicitors within their Legal Services department within its Social Care legal team. It is a very unique and vibrant local authority with a rich history and heritage, with 2 iconic bridges serving 2 communities either side of the River Mersey. The Role The Council have exciting opportunities for ambitious Solicitor's to join its in-house legal team providing high quality, timely and business focused legal advice to its social care and safeguarding teams to enable the proper and effective discharge of its many services. The post offers a full and varied personal caseload including advice, support and representation across all areas of children’s social care and children’s safeguarding, including, where necessary advocacy in courts, tribunals and inquiries on behalf of the Council.
