Humanities Teacher

We are currently seeking a Humanities Teacher to join on a long-term contract or temporary-to-permenant basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across the humanities subjects, including History, Geography and Religious Education. Key Responsibilities: * Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the humanities subjects, in line with the national curriculum * Creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences for students of all abilities * Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) * Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents/carers * Establishing positive relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues * Maintaining high standards of behaviour management, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment * Fulfilling all other duties and responsibilities as required by the school Requirements: * A relevant degree and teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS or equivalent * Experience teaching humanities subjects at KS3 and KS4 level * Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks * Ability to plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students of all abilities * Excellent behaviour management skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a team Benefits: * Competitive pay rates and benefits package * Opportunities for professional development and career progression * Flexibility to choose when and where you work * The opportunity to work with a variety of schools and students
