School HR Assistant Days/hours: 8am till 4pm Monday to Friday Birmingham This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate ArWe are looking for an experienced HR assistant to work with one of our partner schools in Birmingham. You will provide a high level of administration support to the school and ensure HR servies are delivered in a proactive, effective and efficient way. We are looking for somebody who is highly committed and has a genuine passion for education for all and can be flexible and optimistic with all tasks.  Responsibilities To support with recruitment processes across the academies. Assist with recording and tracking of job applications. To ensure room and refreshments are ready before interviews take place. To ensure new employee receive induction packs and required information. To ensure all new starters have login details and ID cards. Support the maintenance of a Single Central Register (SCR). Ensure monthly holiday entitlement emails are sent to support staff. Assist the HR officer with maintenance of confidential staff records. Maintain an accurate filing system and process HR related paperwork. Any other reasonable duties as requested. Person specification Previous experience in a HR role, preferably in an educational setting. Excellent communication, writing and editing skills with the ability to build relationships with others. Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task. To work with accuracy and a high attention to detail. High proficiency with Microsoft Office. Requirements 5 GCSE A* - C or equivalent Right to work in the UK. An enhanced child/child & adult DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one. A minimum of two professional references (three if neither is child-based) to cover the last 24 months
