Job Description

As a Senior Account Manager at RTA, you will be responsible for design, manage and execute large-scale paid media campaigns via Meta and Google while leading the planning across client accounts. You will play a key role in successful delivery of campaigns and ensuring your clients receive the best-in-class media planning across multiple media channels, including programmatic, search and social.

Key Responsibilities


Planning & Strategy

  • Build, develop and implement account strategy, to include complex, cross channel media plans
  • Forecast spend and performance accurately and communicate clearly internally and externally
  • Design and implement innovative strategical tests which can bring deeper insights on performance and value
  • Outline and organise measurement strategy, tracking and results delivery
  • Review and recommend new, innovative tests, tools or ideas to clients at least quarterly


Client Relationship Management

  • Updates to client (via presentations/calls/QBRs) which include campaign insights and recommendations as well as industry best practices
  • Pitching new innovative test, tools and ideas
  • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure they are fully kept up to date on activities and additional opportunity so RTA are in pole position to expand / maximise opportunities
  • Develop processes/structure/services which can add value to our existing clients and ensure their experience with RTA is best in class


Project Management

  • Project manage complex workflows and multi team projects and ensure all client projects are delivered within agreed SLAs
  • Design, manage and execute large-scale paid media campaigns via Meta and Google (Google Adwords will include all their products such as Youtube, GDN, Gmail and Search).
  • Oversee internal account operations (onboarding, account setup, reporting infrastructure, communication channels, asset organisation, troubleshooting issues etc.)
  • Manage and oversee communication between activation team and client contacts


Account Growth and Innovation

  • Onboard new accounts and manage account spend, leveraging opportunities
  • Grow and develop existing accounts organically on existing channels and Identify additional commercial opportunities where appropriate
  • Proactively manage contract renewals by implementing innovative strategies that drive impact beyond the client, project, or team. Independently solve challenges throughout the process
  • Contribute to RFPS, research new tools, products and tech that could bring additional value to the client and Improve RTA's service offerings


You’re the right person for the role if you have:

  • Degree in business, maths, marketing, engineering, science or similar.
  • No.1 requirement is a performance marketing background
  • 3-4 years of hands on paid advertising experience (agency experience preferable).
  • Proven track record of success with social and search campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously to meet objectives/key deadlines.
  • Experience with website and lead analytics (UTM tagging, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Google certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certifications a plus.
  • Outstanding data handling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Well-organised and flexible; able to move from project to project without delay.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • A passion for Digital Marketing and learning!
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports.
