Class 1 Driver

CLASS 1 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 09.30 STARTS

£16.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for our well-established client based in Leeds.

We are looking for drivers to work Monday to Friday completing collections in West Yorkshire.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Make up to 10 collections per day
• Double deck trailer
• Occasional Class 2 work
• Majority of the work being self loaded
• Mixture of palletised and loose load
• Abide by company rules and policies
• Follow driving rules and regulations

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience making local collections in a Class 1 vehicle is desirable

Training

• Driving Assessment required
