Job Title: ITAM Data Quality Operations - Senior Manager Location: Glasgow (Onsite) Duration: Until 31/12/24 Contract Type: PAYE through Umbrella Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced ITAM Data Quality Operations Senior Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in driving the accuracy and completeness of asset data within the Configuration Management System, ensuring compliance with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITAM, Configuration Management, and data quality operations, and be proficient in managing complex data sets within large-scale environments. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of asset lifecycle stages within the Configuration Management System. Improve the completeness and accuracy of attributes required for ITAM processes and controls. Drive improvements in 'evidenced' and 'accuracy' scores, identifying discrepancies in source data and leading remediation activities. Maintain the mapping of reported asset lifecycle stages to the lifecycle stages defined in the ITAM Standard. Manage the scope of asset attributes required for ITAM, with a focus on class-based maturity of required attributes. Identify authorized assets and maintain a register of IT asset inventory data quality issues. Develop and oversee data validation processes to ensure high-quality asset data. Report on the availability of priority attributes in both the Asset Management Database (AMDB) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Ensure the accuracy of lifecycle attributes for prioritized Level 1 and Level 2 assets. Support compliance and audit requirements related to asset data quality. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree. Experience with ServiceNow. ITIL4 Foundations certification. Experience in ITAM/Configuration Management. Knowledge of Problem Management methodologies such as Kepner-Tregoe or the 5 Whys method. Familiarity with JIRA for project management Required Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow, SharePoint, PowerBI, and JIRA for tracking and reporting team activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage internal clients and stakeholders effectively. Excellent data analytical skills, with the ability to digest requirements, provide feedback, and identify improvement opportunities. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify data trends and patterns. A proactive sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to act independently and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed, multi-region team. Strong multitasking skills and experience evaluating changes to source production systems. Desired Skills: Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Systems thinking and solution design skills. Institutional knowledge of MS IT processes and systems. Experience building reports and performance analytics in ServiceNow. Proficiency in Power BI for report building. Experience with ITAM/CMDB implementation.
