Maintenance Supervisor - Ballyrashane Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties. The Groups Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. Applications are invited for the above position of Maintenance Supervisor for our Ballyrashane site: The Role: The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team to support delivery of both site and departmental key performance indicators and implement the site asset care strategy. Additional key responsibilities will include: Ensure a rapid response to equipment breakdowns; Ensure on-time completion of planned / corrective maintenance to maximize equipment productivity at least overall cost; Ensure all engineering activities are conducted in compliance with standard operating procedures including those relating to health & safety and food hygiene/safety; Lead the day-to-day engineering operations onsite; Actively promote the companys OX programme; Provide technical support for shift teams. The Person: The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background possessing both relevant practical and supervisory experience in a similar role. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following: Strong people-leadership capabilities as a motivational leader being able to build and develop a team andmanage success through others; Ability to multi-task, displaying skills in establishing priorities and managing workloads to meet challenging deadlines; A soundtrack record of delivering continuous improvement in technical and food safety standards; Previous relevant experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; Relevant engineering qualification.
