Job Role: Steel Shop Team Leader Location: Leicester, LE11 Salary: £20.65 per hour Shift: Nigh Shift, 7.45pm-6.00am Monday to Thursday (39hours) The company: One of the UK's leading specialist steel fabricators, supporting clients in the construction, energy, engineering, highways and rail sectors. The role: The company is looking to recruit a night shift Steel Shop Team Leader / Chargehand 80% productive 20% supervision. The candidate: The candidate for the Steel Shop Team Leader / Chargehand should: Have strong experience with fabricating and welding within architectural steelwork. Be experienced working with tools. Have good leadership skills. Be able to enforce rules and help take charge on night shift. Be able to report back. Be experienced working closely with production team when needed. Be able to lead by example. The role of the Steel Shop Team Leader / Chargehand involves: 80% productive 20% supervision. Welding and Fabricating Supervising a Team. Adhering to health and safety. Ensuring quality, health and safety / housekeeping standards are of the highest level.
