We have fabulous opportunity for you to join our really awesome Income Collections Team in the role of an Income Community Housing Assistant. Your role in a nutshell, is to provide outstanding customer service and protect our income!
Youll be a part of a National Income focused team which will involve the collection of Former Tenant Arrears, arrears Case Management and administration tasks around Universal Credit along with other income collection tasks. Its also about working closely with National colleagues to make sure that we are accountable, commercial, caring and energised with everything we do.
About our team
To us were not just a team were a work family. Vicky, our line manager has been with Home Group for over 8 years and has over 17 years experience working in housing related roles. There are6 other fantastic Community Housing Assistants in the team, and we dont just love to support our national colleagues and customers, were there for each other too!

You bring
- A can do positive attitude, youre proactive and well organised, able to work on your initiative.
- A real passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
- Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners
- An understanding of housing management, income and universal credit would be ideal, but theyre not deal breakers!
- The ability to use technology to navigate our systems and update customer records

- you will have the flexibility of both home and office working in one of our local offices and well give you the technical kit to make that easy..

- Youll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
