We are one of the foremost foreign exchange (FX) experts in the industry, with a multi-billion pound wholesale business and over 20 years’ trusted experience providing tailor-made travel money solutions for companies in the finance, travel and retail sectors.
We have a vacancy in our influential and results oriented Senior BA to provide strategic in-depth analysis of business and system processes and requirements. In addition, they will provide product and process definition, and leadership and oversight to the delivery teams.
The Role
- Work with the business to define and enhance products and propositions
- Support internal and external partner teams when engaging with existing and future clients at all stages from presales to project delivery and post go-live product support
- Contribute to the delivery of complex projects and provide direction and guidance to delivery teams
- Work with technical teams and business analysts to analyse system impacts of business change, and to translate business requirements into technical specifications and requirements
- Ensure that new solutions meet requirements and integrate with existing systems and processes
- Arrange and deliver workshops for business owners and technical teams, enabling them to examine the detail around their proposed requirements and the impact of their desired and proposed changes
- Identify, gather and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Use technical expertise to make recommendations regarding design of new systems
- Ensure that final deliverables, task or project meet stated business and/or technical requirements, have been successfully delivered and measured within agreed deadlines and budgets
- Work with the Scrum teams to provide business and technical requirement documents and specifications to enable test scripts and scenario creations
- Work with suppliers during analysis and design phases to ensure solutions meet requirements and are fit for purpose
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in business and systems analysis
- Business process and data modelling skills, including the ability to create conceptual and logical data models
- A proven track record of translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Expert understanding and practical experience of Unified Modelling Language (UML)
- A good understanding and ideally experience of Agile and service-oriented architecture concepts
- Experience in full systems lifecycle, from analysis through to design to build and implementation
- Experience in an Agile and Waterfall project delivery environment
Desired:
- Degree level qualification, preferably in an IT related discipline or equivalent combination of specialised training.
- Relevant Systems analysis qualification
- Technical experience of integration technologies such as BizTalk, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
