Unqualified Teacher Ideally the successful applicant will have a proven track record working as an unqualified teacher within an SEMH environment, but the Headteacher will happily consider anyone who is looking to transition from a mainstream setting. The successful unqualified teacher will be covering/teaching 6-8 students, KS3/4 students with SEMH. The successful unqualified teacher will need to be committed, flexible and resilient with the ability to use their own initiative where required. Progress with these pupils can be slow when compared to their contemporaries so patience, a caring nature, passion for the job and strong self-belief will be essential.
