*This role is very different from a normal HGV Class 2 Driver; you will also be trained as a Jet Vac Engineer*

Our client offers a range of drainage solutions to domestic, commercial, and industrial markets.
The ideal candidate will need experience working as a HGV Class 2 Driver, everything else this role needs you to do requires no experience at all, as full training will be provided.
What we need from you to apply for this role:
- Class 2 Driving Licence required (to be able to drive tankers)
- You must live within a 20-minute drive to the main office
- You must be willing to have DBS and enhanced Police Check
- Willing to undergo training as required for this role
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team while supporting other operatives or engineers
- You can confidently carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on your vehicles and equipment to ensure all is fully operational
- The job entails manual labour, so you will need to be physically fit
What the role involves:
You will be operating a drain and sewer cleaning vehicle and machinery, working across commercial and industrial sectors as well as residential properties. Other duties include:
- Carrying out both emergency and planned works in drain cleaning and cleansing including emptying of septic tanks and interceptors
- Working with other engineers as required to aid in other drainage tasks
- Operating a van pack jetting unit as required
Salary:£26,910 - £38,000 per year + overtime and on-call bonus. Working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Overtime and weekend work is also available.
Core hours are 7.30am 4.30pm (Some flexibility is required on start/finish times).
On-call rota 1 week in 5 (Monday - Friday).
You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every 5 weeks.
Bank Holidays are also worked, on a rota basis.
