Supervisor

Position: Supervisor (Highway Maintenance Team) Location: Stroudwater Depot Contract Type: Temp to Perm Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 (PAYE, dependent on experience) About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to join our Highway Maintenance Team at Stroudwater Depot. This temp-to-perm role involves overseeing multiple teams, ensuring all site activities are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for a range of duties including site supervision, site measurements, and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed to schedule and to high standards. Conduct site measurements and ensure accurate reporting. Produce CDM Construction Phase Plans and enforce safety procedures on-site. Order plant and materials daily, ensuring timely delivery and resource availability. Undertake site inspections and provide inductions for teams prior to the commencement of work. Assist in preparing weekly cost and value reports for project management.Key Skills & Requirements: Preferably experience in the highways or construction sector with a background in managing multiple teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Solid knowledge of the construction industry, including health and safety regulations.
