Financial Accountant - Construction

Job Title: Financial Controller. Location: South Ockendon. Salary: Negotiable depending on experience - £55-65K. Job Description • Oversee all financial operations • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports. • Produce the management accounts and present these to the MD and owners (when necessary) • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. • Add value through commercial relationships across the wider business • Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation. • Work closely with warehouse management, sales, marketing, supply chain and HR. The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Controller should have: • Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA • Familiarity with financial software - EXCEL and comfortable with analysing high volumes of data • Excellent analytical and numerical skills. • Sharp time management skills. • Strong ethics, with a high level of honesty and integrity. • A strong team player who is comfortable with being an integral part of senior management
