Design Manager

Design Manager London £85k-£90k plus Benefits & Car/Car Allowance Do you have experience working on purpose-built student accommodation and high rise build to rent projects? Leading company with award-winning projects continues to enjoy success and expand their portfolio of developments. As a result, they are seeking a candidate to work out of their London office liaising with the design team from conception to Stage 4/5. You will have at least 10 years' relevant experience and be able to work with full autonomy, managing external consultants and ensuring deadlines are met. The role: Lead external and internal project design teams, organising & coordinating design for sub-contractors Provide design management for schemes to ensure deadlines are met Manage budget and resources for projects Ensure accurate records are kept of all design changes Assist with developing a design delivery schedule Work closely with project Director to record design & cost issues Requirements: Background in either architecture, design and construction management or architectural technology degree Experience as a Technical or Design Manager Up-to-date knowledge of construction standards and regulations, with practical knowledge of construction process Management experience Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines Experience of Asite & Viewpoint Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Our client can offer a highly comprehensive benefits package which includes generous salary, car / car allowance, annual bonus and private medical insurance.
