Area Sales Manager – South West£55,000 base + 30% bonus + Car + Pension + PackageThe CompanyGMA are delighted to be working with the market leader in their field of electrical and mechanical engineering services. They are the go to company for various manufacturing and engineering industries throughout the UK, for all electromechanical repairs and service of both rotating and static equipment.Due to promotions internally they are now looking to add to their successful UK sales team a highly skilled Area Sales Manager for the South West region.The RoleAs the Area Sales Manager for the South West you will be fully responsible for developing sales of workshop services such as maintenance, repairs, overhaul, reliability on all forms of rotating and static equipment as well as general mechanical and electrical engineering services.The customer base is their key strategic customers that spend over a certain amount per year, where you will look to key account develop these, and to continually grow their service led technical offering to their customers.You will inherit an existing account base that will include customers from within the petrochemical, food and beverage, utility, steel, oil and gas, aerospace, automotive and other general industrial based customers.This is an exciting opportunity to join their UK sales team where this position offers a high profile within his team, with the opportunity to be part of a significant growth plan for this division, where you could progress into regional sales man-management.The CandidateIdeally you will be Based in the South West (England)You will be from a form of electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally apprentice trained, or degree educatedYou will have developed a successful track record in engineering/technical sales, being technically strong, where you will understand multiple engineering disciplines.Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, motors, generators, gearboxes) would be an advantage
