Composite Laminator Opportunity / Leading Formula 1 Team / 3 +month contract / Outside ir35 Location – Silverstone Title – Composite Laminator Shift – Weekend Nights Role – 3+ Month Contract Status – Outside of IR35 Salary – Negotiable About An Opportunity has arisen to join one of the most established Formula 1 teams in the country. With large renovations happening to their workshop, and the new owner investing over £1,000,000 into the new manufacturing environment. There is a real forward drive happening with this client, and with the second half of the season well under way and the winter build being just round the corner. This business is actively recruiting for a skilled and experienced composite laminator that has experience working in the fast-paced motorsport sector. Ideally this client would be looking for an individual that has worked for leading Formula 1 teams previously and has worked several contracts in the fast paced F1 Sector. Key Responsibilities Assembling carbon fibre components utilising engineering drawings and build manuals Laminating and tooling across a broad range of products Ensure materials used are as specified and laid up in accordance with lay-up instructions and / or the manuals Laminate with good attention to detail Vacuum bag parts to a high standard Assist as required in all aspects of Production including preparation of moulds and de-moulding Complete paperwork to the required standard Candidate specification The ideal candidate will have experience working in the automotive/ motorsport sector Good knowledge of laminating processes Ideally 2+ years’ experience working for a leading Formula 1 team The client is looking for an enthusiastic individual that is looking to build a long-term career with them Passionate about motorsport Ability to adapt and be flexible to customer requirements
