Warehouse Manager  £48,000 - £53,000 P/A, depending on experience  Wimbledon Full time | Permanent | 40 hours per week  Are you an experienced Warehouse/Depot Manager with strong people management skills?  Do you come from a high-performance culture and possess both logistics and facilities management experience?  Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the entire warehouse function, including the workforce, performance, stock levels and operational tasks.  In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £53,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, health cash plan, pension contributions and more!  This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Please note - this position may require some UK (and occasional European) travel, so flexibility around the core hours would be a desirable and a valid passport will be a prerequisite.  This position involves some heavy lifting, bending and twisting therefore physical fitness is required.  You will also need a full drivers license.  Reporting to the Head of Operations, your responsibilities will include: Conducting team briefings to ensure high levels of productivity and a safe working environment Forecasting future staffing levels and working with HR in recruiting, interviewing and selecting staff Flagging major stock or operational issues and supporting with sourcing additional resources to deliver Ensuring all equipment is supplied efficiently Continuous improvement  People management, including staff appraisals, authorising holiday, submitting temporary agency worker requests, authorising timesheets etc.  Monitoring output against budget and negotiating with equipment and materials suppliers for the best possible deals Communicating with customers via phone and email, handling all requests and, where necessary, complaints Responsibility for the health and safety of the site and for addressing any safety concerns quickly  The ideal candidate: Must have previous warehouse or depot management experience from a fast-paced national or international organisation Will need an understanding of logistics, facilities management and health and safety.
