Financial Planning Analyst

FP&A Analyst required for a Private Equity backed consumer goods company based in Cambridge!£65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus and BenefitsAn opportunity has arisen for a qualified chartered finance professional to join a private equity backed, consumer goods business that is a market leader in what they do. They have a good growth plan and you will play a pivotal role in the commercial finance team with a focus on ensuring accurate month-end close, presenting P&L reports, driving strategic decisions, managing budgets, developing KPI dashboards, and supporting process improvements and automations as well as partnering with the Executive team. You will also be a key player in enhancing processes and setting out best practice for colleagues.To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Strong financial modelling and analytical skillsExperience with PowerBI would be desirable but not essentialBrilliant interpersonal skillsHands on approachStrong excel and systems skillsA little more information about the role:To be responsible for the FP&A function within the organisationOwnership of the forecasting and budgeting process for the businessProviding the business with analysis and guidance and support that will aid strategic decision makingTo own the cost base for the organisation, and partnering with the cost centre owners, challenging them were necessaryMaking sure that the month end process is as accurate and efficient as possibleSupporting with continuous improvements across the finance team and wider business as well as being involved with system implementationsIf you have the skillset required, or would like further information, please apply below.
