Assistant Primary SENCO

LTF Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and organised Assistant SENCO to join our dynamic team at a large all-through school in Harrow. This is a non-classroom-based role, where you will play a crucial part in supporting the SENCO in the Primary department. Key Responsibilities: Assisting the SENCO with the day-to-day management of SEND provision. Completing essential paperwork, including EHCPs and other documentation. Interacting with students, parents, and staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils with special educational needs. Supporting with the planning and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Liaising with external agencies and professionals to support the needs of students. Requirements: Previous experience working within a SEND environment (preferably in a primary setting). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. A commitment to supporting the development and learning of children with special educational needs.
