Category Development Manager

Location: London Area Hybrid: 3 Days in head office Salary: Up to £70,000 Benefits This is a customer-facing category management role where you will be responsible for shaping category growth across retail customers. Working for a leading FMCG organisation with significant market share in the categories they represent. The organisation has seen significant growth with strong sales across all channels, successful product launches, and a strategic plan for further expansion. Key responsibilities: Instrumental in influencing key grocery retail accounts. Customer relationship management. Delivering data-driven category strategies. Contributing category insights to identify category growth. Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams such as marketing and commercial. The ideal category manager will have experience in a similar level Category Management role and a strong understanding of the UK retail grocery scene. You should be comfortable building relationships and working closely with customers, with a passion for figuring out what drives category performance. Experience creating and delivering successful Category Growth Plans is key, along with familiarity using tools like JDA, Nielsen & Kantar Data to make smart, data-driven decisions.
