Finance Operations Analyst

Insight Investment is looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to join the Finance team in London. In this role, you will primarily be involved with drafting, reviewing, and approving fee commercial terms for Insight clients. Additionally, it includes a secondary focus on reviewing and approving revenue calculations within the invoices produced by our outsourced provider.The fee commercial review and fee billing processes are fundamental to everything that Insight does. This role presents a great opportunity for someone to immerse themselves in how Insight works and gain insights into the asset management industry. The individual in this role will have exposure to all of Insights products, requiring them to understand the fees associated with each product, how these are calculated and the reason for any differences. The role has a high degree of interaction with the Client Solutions team.Role ResponsibilitiesFee Commercials – Drafting and ReviewGain in-depth knowledge of Insight’s fee structures and gain exposure to complex financial products offered by Insight.Draft and review of IMAs, fee templates and fee schedulesEnsure all Fee Agreements are drafted in line with policy and intentionInterpret fees and products to ensure alignment with Fee AgreementRelationship managementCollaborate, build strong relationships with and challenge Client Services and Client Directors on fee structuresBuild working relationship with outsourced provider and support them to deliver a high performanceCommunicate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and understandingSupport the revenue calculation processReview complex fee calculations produced by outsourced providerGenerate complex exposure value calculationsEnsure high priority invoices are dispatched accurately and within the specified time frameAddress queries from both the outsourced provider and key stakeholders within InsightPerformance tracking and improvementMonitor KPIs and SLAsTrack errors and identify issues within the processes handled for the Finance Operations TeamIdentify and drive process improvement opportunitiesAssist in ad hoc requests from the businessExperience RequiredExperience in asset management or financial services, ideally in a similar fee commercials, invoicing or operational functionKnowledge of client mandates (segregated and pooled funds), their fee arrangements and legal agreements preferableKnowledge of financial asset classes (LDI, derivatives, fixed income, liquidity) preferableStrong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAnalytical, questioning, and commercial mindsetBusiness writingExcel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc.)Insight is committed to being an inclusive employer and encourages applications from all suitably qualified applicants irrespective of background, circumstances, age, disability, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
