Cloud 9 Recruitment have partnered with a global packaging group who are seeking to appoint a Regional New Business Development Manager for the East Midlands, Yorkshire, M62 corridor. As part of their growth strategy and in line with their continued success, this role has been created specifically to attract experienced and successful New Business Development professionals within the Packaging arena to identify, qualify and secure key new business opportunities. We are keen to speak with people who have strong new business skills who can demonstrate success in growing an area from scratch. You will be joining a well-recognised brand within the Packaging & Containers sector, in a high-level key position for the Group. As part of a strategic team, you will enjoy full product training, ongoing role and career development, plus the opportunity to develop your career to its maximum potential. Source, qualify, win and develop new business opportunities for your region at levels of circa £750k-£1million per annum. * Developing new business sales strategies to attract key opportunities at potential new customers with a packaging spend of £200k upwards p.a. * Generate an attractive pipeline of suitable leads, arrange and attend meetings to discuss customer requirements providing full product knowledge and packaging solutions. Ensure repeat and new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong and trusted customer relationships. * Conduct regular sales forecasts and analysis for producing to senior management. Experience working within the packaging industry in a field sales position is essential. * Able to demonstrate a creative, positive and enthusiastic outlook in their approach to new business development. * Ability to demonstrate successful history of securing new business and developing a region. * Enthusiastic, confident and driven in securing new business. * Good commercial acumen. * Strong IT skills & experience of working with a CRM platform. * Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
