With a competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages; Redstone Commodity Search can confidently offer you an edge in today’s volatile market.Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading company looking to hire a Senior Contract Administrator to join their London team.Key Responsibilities / TasksDealing with the logistics and operations such as: scheduling, dealing with letters of credit, bank contracts, bill of exchange and bills of landingContract monitoring, execution and dealing with complaints / issues from clientsShipping and invoicing documentation – ensuring timely document preparation, payment collection and cargo release activities of metals such as steel, iron ore, pig iron, scrap metals, or other ferrous metalsLiaising with banks in relation to new business requests, payment/finance requests, loans, and documentation such as letters of credit confirmation and discounting.Role reports to the Managing DirectorKey Qualifications / Experience Experience within a commodity trading and/or shipping environment is preferredStrong commercial sense within metals (preferably within steel, iron ore, pig iron, scrap metals, or other ferrous metals)Specific experience with invoicing and documentation such as letters of credit, bills of exchange and bills of landing.Knowledge on issuing certificates, including Certificates on Insurance and Certificates of OriginLocated in London.
