A private equity backed Tier 2 Principal Contractor are looking for a Site Agent to join their business. They have a solid portfolio of secure frameworks within their target markets which are Rail and Highways across the UK. This position will be based in the South West region where they have a large portfolio of station projects. Being part of a consistent pipeline of work, there will be opportunity to progress into a Project Manager position in the future. As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the construction phase, ensuring that you deliver the project in line with customer expectations, HSE, quality, environmental, programme and budget. You will positively encourage collaborative working throughout your team, suppliers and customers.  To be successful in this position, it is thought you will: Have a HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Have a CSCS and SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely Have relevant experience in leading the delivery of Rail projects, ideally having worked on Station or Access for All projects Have a working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting. Have demonstrable experience in managing a team On offer is a salary of 60,000 - 65,000 with a strong benefits package including a car allowance, private healthcare, pension, life assurance, 25 days annual leave and a day off on your birthday.
