Strategic Buyer

We are searching for a Strategic Buyer to join a growing team. You will be working on a spend profile of around £50 million and dealing with the strategic sourcing. Job Title: Strategic Buyer Location: Peterborough Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 p.a. Job Title: Permnanent, Hybrid Job Responsibilities: Enforce procurement policies and procedures Contract renewals and associated process New supplier onboarding Accountable for the quality of purchase order output Delivery of professional and expert service delivery to local geography Develop and implement efficient processes, procurement tools and strategies aligned with the company's objectives and market trends to enhance productivity and effectiveness Conduct RFI, RFP, RFQ activity and present succinct outcomes Negotiate mid to high value contracts Compliance to policies and any regulatory requirements for the geography Conduct market research, identify potential suppliers and negotiate favourable contracts and terms Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships and implement strategies to enhance vendor partnerships Provide information and data to contribute to Management Information Use procurement analytics from various sources to forecast, identify risks and drive mitigation strategies and / or levers for procurement Assist implementing Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance criteria to procurementWhat we are looking for: Previous experience in procurement Proficient and sourcing suppliers Experience with ERP systems Contract negotiation Huntress Search Ltd acts as a Recruitment Agency in relation to all Permanent roles and as a Recruitment Business in relation to all Temporary roles.
