``` Who You Are You are a resilient, highly motivated, and well-organized individual with strong communication and influencing skills that allow you to interact effectively at all levels. You hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification and are a registered IOSH member. You have a solid understanding of current and proposed health and safety legislation along with the ability to interpret legislation in a practical manner. What the Job Involves This role involves managing and continuously improving the health and safety performance of council services and activities. You will develop, implement, and promote health and safety policies, strategies, principles of prevention, and risk management while reporting to the Corporate Health and Safety Manager. Your responsibilities will include acting as a lead advisor for corporate and schools health and safety management, focusing on auditing, development, and implementation of health and safety management systems, and statistical analysis. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and deliver health and safety training. ```
