Job DescriptionAppian Technical LeadLondon - Hybrid RoleJob Description:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Appian Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of Appian-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Appian BPM (Business Process Management) platform capabilities and will be responsible for leading a team of developers and collaborating with business stakeholders to create scalable, efficient, and robust business applications.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage end-to-end Appian application development, from solution design to implementation and deployment.Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable Appian-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Act as a technical subject matter expert on Appian architecture and development, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.Oversee code reviews, technical audits, and continuous improvements in Appian applications.Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs that arise during development and post-deployment phases.Mentor and coach junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative team environment.Stay current with Appian platform updates, new features, and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on current or future projects.Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and performance standards in Appian applications.Support DevOps initiatives and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes are followed for Appian-based projects.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field.Hands-on experience with Appian BPM, including recent experience leading development teams.Appian Level 2 (Senior Developer) or higher certification is strongly preferred.Proficiency in Appian components such as SAIL, Process Models, Reports, Sites, and integration with external systems.Strong understanding of Appian architecture, object-oriented design, and integration capabilities (REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services).Experience with Appian RPA, AI, and advanced workflow design is a plus.Proficient in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills:Experience integrating Appian applications with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).Knowledge of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation tools.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and deployment models.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.If you wish to apply kindly email your profile to [email protected]
