Job Title: M&A Integration Business Analyst Location: Remote Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to work within the M&A Integration team following the acquisition of new businesses into the group. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of business process and change impact analysis, the ability to define business requirements, as well has good technical skills that include data collection, analysis and requirements definition for the creation of data sets for data migrations or archiving. . A strong team player and who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. You will predominantly be working with small to medium companies, so experience of the SME sector is important. The primary objectives of the role are: Develop a high level business overview of acquired company Understand and document overlapping products, services, processes, and capabilities, to aid target state definition with the business stakeholders Document ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes Conduct gap analysis and change impact assessments from current to target state for people, clients, systems and process. Work with business and technology to support “to be” state defining functional business requirements. Work with business and technology teams in the creation of User Acceptance Test plans and lead UAT efforts. Data analysis to support project activities Support Business and data analysis activities in Customer Migration , data archiving or Value Creation Projects as part of the M&A integration process Skills/ Experience Proven experience with business process design and documentation; ‘as is’ and ‘to be’, gap analysis Proven experience of modelling tools; Process models, use cases/stories, entity relationship diagrams etc Significant experience with process and information gathering approaches; interviews, workshop facilitation, shadowing etc Strong experience of data analysis and proficiency in Excel Strong understanding of change management principles and practices Experience of M&A Integration or System Migration projects Experience of Salesforce/Financial Force projects (desirable) Stakeholder management experience Proficient user of powerpoint and Visio Change Management qualification (desirable) Business case development/analysis (desirable) Worked in Agile and waterfall environments (desirable)
