About the RoleAs an MP&L supervisor you’ll be coordinating and monitoring the logistics operation. Responsible for all on shift Health, Safety, Environmental issues arising.How you will contributeResponsible for all on shift Health, Safety, Environmental issues arising including: - Full Safety incident investigation and corrective action implementation. Ensuring all employees understand the need for safe working. Ensure the adherence of site H&S procedures.Responsible for ensuring inbound deliveries are received and tipped as per schedule. Achieving all internal KPI by allocating correct resource and coaching team to manage the day-to-day business using the business objectives.Manage the update of all Team board documentation to capture real time performance and identify improvements. Confirm daily activity is being carried out to achieve KPI.Responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions for issues arising that affect the successful achievement of departmental KPI as well as specifying process improvements that will enhance operational performance.Responsible for representing the department at internal and external customer meetings. Communicate departmental shift issues and performance at team briefs. Attend team board reviews and board walksManage manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles – including the implementation of CI activity.Drive company Absence Control Procedures to ensure maximum attendance levels. Deal with all personnel issues on shift in line with Company Policies.Responsible for managing development and maintenance of accurate standard work documentation.What you will bringTwo or more years of experience in supervisory roles.Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.Understanding of business planning.Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.CompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
