An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of People Partnering to work for a prestigious regulatory body that provides extensive knowledge on a national scale. This is an interim position to provide support in developing and shaping a new team within the People Directorate.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Lead and inspire the People Partnering team, fostering a culture of high performance
- Oversee and guide the People Partners in establishing and embedding a strategic business partnering approach
- Manage subject matter expert leads, ensuring the efficient operation of their respective functions
- Utilise Employee Relations expertise to continuously improve and update practices and policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Collaborate with the wider People teams to enhance the employee experience through aligned policies and practices
- Partner with other People Leaders to refine the employee and service value proposition, providing effective solutions for the organisation
- Lead the evaluation and improvement of HR systems and technology to support strategic goals and drive best practices
- Work collaboratively across the entire People Directorate to build credibility within the organisation and deliver an outstanding customer experience for all employees
Ideal candidate profile:
- MCIPD qualification or equivalent
- Extensive senior-level generalist experience in a central government organisation
- In-depth knowledge of Employee Relations with experience leading a team of subject matter experts
- Proven leadership and management skills, emphasising policy improvement and high-quality service delivery
- Expertise in designing and implementing People strategies, turning them into actionable team objectives
- Strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with leaders, managers, and stakeholders
Location: Brighton
Duration: 6-9 months, with possible extension
Daily rate: £635 per day PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay
Working hours: Full time
Working pattern: Hybrid (8 days per month in the office, flexible work pattern)
