MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Consumer Goods business, on the search for a Junior Key Account Manager. This is a permanent position based in South West London.


The Junior Key Account Manager, will work closely under a Senior National Account Manager (NAM), managing high-profile accounts such as Boots, Amazon, and Ireland. This position is ideal for a young, ambitious sales executive or graduate looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with key clients, ensuring that sales targets are met, and assisting in the overall business development strategy.

This hybrid role will require you to spend 3 days per week in our business headquarters located in South West London, with the flexibility to work remotely the remaining days.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the Senior NAM in managing key retail accounts such as Boots, Amazon, and Ireland.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a point of contact for their needs and requirements.
  • Utilize e-commerce skills to help drive online sales and grow the digital presence of key accounts.
  • Perform data analysis and provide insights to optimize sales strategies and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and account performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of account plans.
  • Attend client meetings and confidently present solutions, products, and results.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Attention to detail & data analysis: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, especially in data interpretation and reporting.

  • Client-facing skills: Presentable, confident, and comfortable engaging with clients.
  • Excel proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential for data analysis and reporting.
