This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and dynamic environment. The Role: We are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to support teachers in the day-to-day running of classes to students at KS3 and KS4 levels. In this Temp role, you will assist with classroom management, provide individualised support to students, and foster a positive learning environment. This role could be made permanent depending on the person. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in preparing resources and materials for the day. Support classroom activities. Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce the material. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers. Support students with special educational needs as required. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect. Engage with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support student success and wellbeing. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of teaching assistant experience in a secondary school. Qualifications: Cache Level 2 Support Teaching & Learning In Schools or similar course related to working with children. Training: Experience in behaviour management and differentiated instruction. Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures. Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. To be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Experience: Extensive experience in teaching assistant roles in a secondary school at GCSE level, with a proven track record of student success. Professional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) in education, including advanced training or certifications that enhance teaching practice.
