3.5T Van Driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced 3.5t Van Drivers to join our team in Castle Donington. This is a two-man role where you will work alongside a porter to deliver flat pack furniture to customers across various UK locations. If you enjoy driving and providing excellent customer service, this role is perfect for you!

Salary + Hours

• 11.50 per hour
• Monday-Sunday (Choose your shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 3.5t van to deliver flat pack furniture to customers.
• Work collaboratively with a porter to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Load and unload furniture, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Navigate routes across the UK, ensuring timely arrival at each destination.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the van.
• Complete delivery paperwork and logs accurately.

Requirements:

• Must have a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 5 points.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a 3.5t van.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No bans or convictions on driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, with shifts starting from 06:00 until finish.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of furniture.
