We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Agency Chefs to join our team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to residents in care home settings. Role Overview: As an Agency Chef, you will prepare nutritious and delicious meals tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in enhancing their overall well-being and creating a welcoming dining atmosphere Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and preferences. * Develop and modify menus to accommodate special diets (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free). * Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with regulations. * Collaborate with care staff to understand residents’ nutritional needs. * Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. * Create an engaging dining experience by interacting with residents during mealtimes. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a care home or similar environment. * Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs for the elderly. * Excellent culinary skills and creativity in meal preparation. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Food Safety Certification is preferred.
