Senior Frontend EngineerLocation: LondonHybrid Working: 1 day a week in the officeSalary: £65-£85k base + benefits/ bonus/ equityYou must be able to gain security clearance for this roleOur client is a fast moving, growing and heavily financially invested start-up / scale up working in the “decision data space”, which has the potential to achieve unicorn status in the next 12 months.They are working with the latest technologies and innovations to empower their clients with the best data available globally.They are at a super exciting stage where they are looking to build an exceptional engineering team to build both the future of technology for the business and also be the engineering leaders as the business continues to grow in the coming years.Role:You will be working very closely with the CTO as well as the devops, data science and backend leaders to shape and deliver the frontend ecosystem of the application stack, as well as build out completely greenfield products from scratch.You will have ownership over the technologies and tools from architecture design through to delivery.You will be able to work with the latest technology and work with huge amounts of data; mainly in the geospatial space.Develop an application for data assurance and quality for an internal customerTesting to validate the quality of the productProducing web applicationsWide-ranging frontend responsibilities on the main customer facing user interfaceAn exciting opportunity to come and join a growing business and be one of the founding engineers in the frontend space and be creative in your role to build out the new platform.Technical Skills:Experiences across TypeScript, ES6, JavaScript, NextJS and ReactJSExperience with graph visualisation tools (e.g., D3.js, Sigma.js, Cytoscape.js)Experience with GIS frameworks and libraries such as; leaflet, mapbox, openlayers etcExperience in good testing practices, automated testing, CI/CDExperience with other backend language such as Python, Rust or Golang a plusWorking with large volumes of data (both geographical and graph-based)Strong UX/UI design principlesPlease apply to find out more
