Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering to join a innovative biotechnology company based in London. As the Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering, you will be responsible for spearheading the cell line development program, generating and enhancing cell lines that are crucial for producing cultivated fat at scale. Collaborating with stem cell biologists, computational biologists, and bioprocess engineers, you will significantly influence the future of food.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As the Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering you will be isolating, engineering, and validating new adipogenic cell lines.2. You will be leading a dedicated team to develop and implement automated workflows for mammalian stem cell engineering.3. As the Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering you will be developing cell lines that are integral to the companies R&D and manufacturing processes.4. You will be managing projects and coordinating workflows involving cell line development and molecular biology.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Principal Scientist - Genomic Engineering we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in molecular biology, synthetic biology, mammalian stem cell biology, or a related discipline.2. Proven industry experience in mammalian cell line development and genome engineering.3.
