Senior Site Manager

Build Maintain Recruit is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a commercial build project in North Devon on behalf of our client, a leading construction company known for their commitment to quality and excellence.

The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities and ensuring the successful delivery of a commercial construction project. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and building standards.
• Leadership: Ability to lead teams effectively, ensuring high productivity and maintaining a positive site environment.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Problem Solving: Ability to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in project management software, MS Office, and other construction-related tools.
• Driving License: Full, clean UK driving license required for site visits.
