COMMERCIAL MANAGER QS

Contract Type: 12 Month FTC
The Commercial Manager will report directly to the Head of Projects and work closely with the Project Team, including Project Managers, the Finance Business Partner, the Programme and Quality Manager, and the Head of Projects.
Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and approving deal sheets for every project and reviewing contracts prior to sending them to contractors.
You will also review the LCRP (Long Term Capital Replacement Plan) for the upcoming year, manage all variations and valuations, and provide essential support to project managers. Your role will be critical in ensuring the financial and contractual success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Report to Head of Projects
- Work with the Project Team (Project Managers, Finance Business Partner, Programme and Quality Manager, and Head of Projects)
- Review and Approve Deal sheets for every single project
- Review Contracts prior to sending to contractors
- Review LCRP for next year
- In charge of all valuations and variations supporting the project managers
About You:
- Experience in a commercial management role within the facilities management or construction industry
- Good understanding of commercial contracts (JCT and generic contract), risk management, and financial principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
- Demonstrates initiative and a strong focus on achieving commercial objectives
