This role involves managing a team of retail sales staff operating in key account and independent retailers, developing, and executing sales strategies whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Field Manager and Project team to align regional objectives with the overall corporate strategy.Key Responsibilities:1. Regulatory Compliance and EthicsSkills & Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales management, preferably within the tobacco or FMCG industry.- Proven record of accomplishment of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.- Experience in managing and developing a sales team.Skills and Abilities:- Strong leadership and people management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to develop and execute targeted sales plans.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.- Knowledge of category and regulatory requirements related to tobacco products is an asset.Working Conditions:- Candidate must be car owner with business insurance cover.- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.- Ability to lift and carry promotional materials and equipment.Pay & Benefits:Rate - £18.50phHours – 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. 40 hours per week.
