Commercial Finance Analyst

CMA Recruitment Group isdelighted to be assisting their Reading-based client with the recruitment of a Finance Analyst on a contract basis for up to 12 months.  This is an opportunity for you to utilise your strong analytical skills to support the Head of Finance with new business strategies and proposals across the business in line with the financial model. What will the Finance Analyst role involve? Proactively project managing the financial/commercial components of all new opportunities. Using the commercial model to identify and analyse the risks and opportunities inherent in each new opportunity. Suggesting mitigation strategies and providing modelling support where appropriate. Support the Senior Finance Team in developing a culture of high quality commercial financial management across the organisation Suggest and implement commercial new business process improvement, including developing, maintaining, and improving templates for internal bid budgets Provide support to Commercial Finance Analysts as appropriate. Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy: Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience in a similar role Strong analytical and financial modelling skills Excellent Excel skills, with good knowledge of macros and other advanced techniques. Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively, adhering to strict deadlines. A methodical and accurate approach to work with strong attention to detail, and an ability to develop a quick and thorough understanding of new projects/business areas. A strong team player who is proactive in identifying areas of concern or areas for improvement.
