Currently with around 880 pupils and over 100 staff, they boast a strong reputation in the local market. They are currently looking to add to their finance function by recruiting for a Finance Manager to head up their Finance function. Role: Reporting into the principal, duties of the role include: Completion of monthly financial reporting and reporting into Board of Governors Oversight of year-end audit process Oversight of payroll function Involvement in budgeting and forecasting process Completion of bank reconciliations Oversight of grounds maintenance and all building projects Ensuring maintenance of sickness, absence, and holiday records of non-teaching staff Assisting in the day-to-day running of school including management of non-teaching staff to cover for sicknesses etc Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations Person: My client is ideally looking for a candidate who is/has: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience in a similar background is ideal Has a variety of sector backgrounds (Industry/Practice/Public Sector) Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Package: Salary banding £51,515 - £57,559 (DoE) NILGOSC Pension Scheme (19% employer contribution) 27 days holiday + 12 stats (Goes up to 33 after 5 years of service) On-site car parking 36 hour working week Great working environment Closing Date for applications will be 11th October, with interviews happening W/C 14th October To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Louis Gault-Reid, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group on .
