Accounts Payable

Join a thriving entertainment organisation supporting their finance team. Ideally with exposure to Production accounting with Advanced Excel skills. Experience with an accounting system ideally Sage X3 & Sage payroll. A strong attention to detail. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic, enthusiastic, self-starter and willing to go the extra distance to make a difference attitude Role Process all supplier invoices for payments weekly, including setting up and making the payments via the bank. Process all expenses and petty cash claims on a weekly basis including setting up the payment via the bank. Process payroll via Sage. Prepare the payroll journals and pension documents for posting into the weekly accounts via Sage X3. Complete the bank reconciliations for all production companies bank accounts on a weekly basis. Manage the sales invoicing and chasing up all overdue debtors. Manage supplier/ client invoicing, payments, and recharges Process royalty statements for payment and distribution to royalty holders. Process investor statements for payment and distribution to investors Assist with the year end audit process. Assist the management accountant with monthly reconciliations of, credit cards and petty cash claims as needed. Prepare for review by the Management accountant the quarterly Productions VAT submissions. Prepare Journals as advised by the management accountant. Holiday and sickness cover for other members of the finance team. Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests in a timely and effective manner. Skills, Experience and Qualifications AAT qualification desirable Strong Excel skills. Experience with an accounting system ideally Sage X3 & Sage 50 payroll. Strong attention to detail Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Dynamic, enthusiastic, self-starter and willing to go the extra distance to make a difference. Criteria For Full Salary To qualify for the full salary, candidates should demonstrate: AAT qualified Expert user in SAGE Have 3 years experience in payroll processes
