The Company:

Our client is a global leading manufacturing company based in the UK, looking to employ a qualified in-house Solicitor/ Legal Counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property.

The Role:

Key responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

• Supporting Senior Legal Counsels with drafting reviewing and interpreting contracts.
• Supporting the Group IP and Licensing manager (and in-house UK and European attorneys) with
• Drafting and reviewing a range of intellectual property agreements required to support the activities of the research and development team.
• Providing general commercial legal support and assisting the Senior Legal Counsels as appropriate.
• Being involved in projects with significant intellectual property focus.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Be a qualified solicitor and have experience drafting and negotiating agreements in the field of IP for at least 4 years.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of UK and European patent, trademark, design and copyright laws.
• Demonstrate an interest in science and technology and can grasp important scientific concepts.
• Have exceptional communication skills.
• Demonstrate a passion for excellence and a willingness to take personal responsibility and ownership for achieving results and objectives.
