AV Technician London – permanent Salary: up to £55,000 plus excellent benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior AV Technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm in the heart of the city. Our client is renowned for its excellent working culture, supporting both public and private sector clients with an exceptional level of service. The firm is on the verge of an exciting move to a state-of-the-art building and is actively exploring the latest AV technologies to ensure they remain at the cutting edge of the industry. The Role As a Senior AV Technician, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all audiovisual requirements for the firm. This includes overseeing AV setups for live events, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing essential support to staff and clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with innovative technologies and play a key role in shaping the firm’s audiovisual systems as they transition to their new premises. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate AV equipment for live events, conferences, and meetings. Liaise with event planners and stakeholders to provide tailored AV solutions. Manage AV equipment inventory and ensure proper maintenance. Provide training and supervision to junior AV staff. Stay informed on the latest AV technologies and trends. Offer technical support and troubleshooting for AV-related issues. Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate AV systems with the organisation’s infrastructure. Technical Skills Experience operating Epiphan Pearl devices. Proficient in managing live events and town halls using Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with Microsoft 700 training. Content editing experience in Adobe Premier. Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Teams Room and its components. Person Specification ~3-5 years of proven experience as an AV technician or in a similar role. ~ Strong knowledge of AV equipment and software. ~ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. ~ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. ~ Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ~ Relevant AV technology certifications would be advantageous.
