About Comparesoft and the Marketing Executive Role

Comparesoft is the UK’s first AI-driven B2B marketplace, helping businesses compare B2B software—hence our name, Comparesoft.

Our platform has been trusted by organisations such as KPMG, GE, Volvo, Siemens, Invesco, Barclays, and 19,000 other businesses, both large and small. We’ve grown 10X in the last five years.

The next step in our journey is to build awareness and establish the Comparesoft brand. To achieve this, we’re seeking a Senior Marketing Executive who will engage with experts in our market, produce podcasts and video content, and share this content with our target audience to drive awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce podcasts and video content with industry experts.
  • Engage with our audience on LinkedIn and other social media channels.
  • Conduct interviews and surveys with B2B software buyers and vendors.
  • Leverage every opportunity to build awareness of Comparesoft.

Role Requirements:

1) Complete ownership of industry expert engagement: We need a collaborative go-getter who excels at creating content and driving brand awareness campaigns.

2) Outstanding verbal and written communication skills: Exceptional communication is essential for podcasts and social media engagement.

3) Information-oriented communication: Building brand awareness relies on accurate information and a commitment to doing the right thing, so curiosity and a passion for seeking knowledge are crucial traits.

4) Experience in video content production: With a preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience in producing video content, we aim to hit the ground running.

Key Behaviours:

1) Positive and energetic outlook: Celebrate both minor milestones and major goals.

2) Organisational skills: Be efficient in producing and publishing video content.

3) Thoughtful communication: Maintain insightful and well-planned communications with industry experts.

4) Speed and quality of execution: As a start-up, rapid execution is essential.

5) Tough but empathetic questioning: Be able to ask challenging questions to both team members and experts.

Our Content-Related Achievements:

  • We rank on the first page of Google for our key markets.
  • Our lead generation has grown by 72% thanks to our content strategy.
  • Our podcasts are featured on Apple and Spotify.
  • Our content strategy has made us the fastest-growing B2B software comparison platform.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Produce podcasts with industry experts.
  • Manage and maintain a podcast/video production calendar, taking full ownership.
  • Engage with our audience on LinkedIn using our content.
  • Experiment with new content ideas (we conduct 150 content tests a year).

Your Career and Benefits:

Your career is important to both you and us. Here are seven key aspects of the role:

1) Health and Wellness: We prioritise your health with comprehensive medical insurance, including coverage for spouses/partners and children for eligible employees. This includes access to physiotherapists, acupuncturists, homoeopaths, osteopaths, chiropractors, mental health support, dental accident and treatment cover, eye tests, 24/7 online GP appointments, and comprehensive cancer care.

2) Podcast Planning: We typically operate on a 3-month podcast plan, allowing for effective planning and prioritisation.

3) Exposure to Leadership: You’ll work closely with the Head of Content and the Product Architect, giving you full exposure to our content strategy and tools to excel in your role.

4) Tools and Resources: We use Trello, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Mouseflow, ChatGPT, and other tools to plan and track our content management processes.

5) Continuous Learning: To support your learning, we provide a budget for online training.

6) Commitment to Best Practices: We use A/B testing to continuously improve our content.

7) Pioneering Project: We’re building the UK’s first recommendation engine for software products, offering you the opportunity to be part of a pioneering and profitable project.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusivity. We do not discriminate based on gender, race, age, sexual orientation, colour, religion, national origin, disability status, or marital status.
