Junior / Trainee Buyer - Main Contractor - Essex

Our client are a well-established Main Contractor based in the Essex area. They deliver projects across a wide variety of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation and Commercial on both New Build and Refurbishment projects

The Role

My client are looking for a Junior / Trainee Buyer who will work alongside the Senior Buyer in helping procure all materials & plant buying for all construction schemes with your responsibilities including -

• Assisting with liaising and meeting with suppliers
• Site Visits to liaise with the site team to discuss the procurement schedule and plan accordingly
• Assisting with Placing Orders
• Assisting with Materials & Plant procurement

Salary depending upon experience will be up to 25k plus package. The client is also looking for the candidate to start ASAP.
