Senior Management Accountant

An opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant, expanding Business Services Group as a Senior Management Accountant.  Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role will have full ownership of overseeing and collating the management accounts whilst also looking after a team of 5. What will the Senior Management Accountant role involve? Ownership of the management accounts process including preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts including review and variance analysis of monthly results; Presentation of management information to Senior Leadership Team; Cash flow forecasting and variance analysis to actuals; Management of the external audit process including liaising with the external auditors and assisting in the preparation of the Financial Statements. Suitable Candidate for the Senior Management Accountant vacancy: Applicants for the Senior Management Accountant will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with previous experience of successful managing a small team; The ability to work effectively with non-finance key stakeholders in relaying and understanding KPI’s and the financial performance of the business will be essential.
