Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver - General Haulage (Curtain Side Vehicle) Location: Garretts Green, Birmingham Salary: £14 per hour Start date: ASAP Job Description: We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to provide ongoing general haulage services across Birmingham. This role involves delivering palletised goods, with up to 10 drops per shift using a curtain-side vehicle. With consistent and frequent work available, you will be part of a professional team ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class 2 HGV curtain-side vehicle. Deliver palletised goods (up to 10 drops per shift). Follow all road safety regulations and company guidelines. Perform routine vehicle checks and report any defects. Deliver goods efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Class 2 HGV driving experience. Valid UK Class 2 (C) licence with no more than 6 points. Minimum age: 25 (for insurance purposes). Familiarity with curtain-side vehicles preferred. Strong time management and self-organisation skills.
